This Privacy Policy explains how Internet City collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use webcity.lol and related Internet City services.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in, we may receive information from your authentication provider, such as:
- name;
- email address;
- profile image;
- account identifier.
Internet City currently uses Supabase for authentication infrastructure and may use Google as an authentication provider.
Property information
If you register or manage a property, we may collect information including:
- property name;
- creator or company name;
- public handle;
- logo or avatar;
- tagline;
- category;
- destination URL;
- selected property tier;
- plot number;
- property status.
Most property information is intended to be publicly displayed.
Transaction information
When you make a purchase, we may store:
- internal order identifiers;
- selected plot and tier;
- transaction status;
- amount associated with the Internet City order;
- payment-provider identifiers;
- refund status;
- limited billing or transaction metadata supplied by the payment provider.
Internet City does not intentionally store full credit-card numbers or card security codes when payment details are handled by the payment provider.
Usage information
We may collect operational and usage information such as:
- property visits and outbound clicks;
- pages or features used;
- timestamps;
- browser or device information;
- IP-derived security information;
- error and diagnostic logs;
- anti-abuse signals.
2. How we use information
We may use information to:
- operate Internet City;
- authenticate users;
- register and display properties;
- process and reconcile purchases;
- prevent duplicate ownership;
- provide property upgrades;
- measure foot traffic;
- improve search and rankings;
- detect fraud, abuse, bots, and security threats;
- provide support;
- process refunds;
- maintain records;
- comply with legal obligations;
- communicate important service information.
3. Public information
Internet City is a public discovery platform.
Information intentionally associated with a public property may be visible to anyone, including:
- property name;
- creator/company name;
- public handle;
- logo or avatar;
- tagline;
- category;
- destination URL;
- plot number;
- building tier/floor count;
- public rankings;
- public traffic statistics.
Do not submit information to a public property that you do not want publicly visible.
Account email addresses are not intended to be publicly displayed unless the user separately chooses to publish them as part of property content.
4. Service providers
Internet City relies on service providers to operate the platform. These may include:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure;
- Google — optional authentication;
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure;
- Dodo Payments — payment processing and/or merchant-of-record services where enabled.
These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices as applicable to the services they provide. Additional providers may be added as Internet City evolves.
5. Payments
Payment information is generally entered directly into the payment provider's checkout environment.
Internet City may receive transaction information necessary to:
- identify the order;
- confirm payment;
- create or update a property;
- detect duplicate transactions;
- process refunds;
- reconcile financial records.
Internet City should not store full payment-card credentials.
6. Cookies and local storage
Internet City and its service providers may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies for:
- authentication;
- session persistence;
- security;
- user preferences;
- operational functionality.
Additional analytics or marketing technologies should not be added without updating this policy where necessary.
7. Foot traffic
When a visitor uses an Internet City property link, Internet City may record that an outbound visit occurred. Foot-traffic information may be aggregated and displayed publicly.
We may use technical information to identify obvious automated traffic, fraud, or abuse. Public foot-traffic counts should not be interpreted as verified unique human visitors unless explicitly stated.
8. How we share information
We may share information:
- with infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate Internet City;
- with payment providers to process transactions;
- when required by law;
- to investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues;
- to protect Internet City, users, or third parties;
- as part of a business transfer, restructuring, acquisition, or similar transaction where legally permitted.
Internet City does not sell personal information to advertisers.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- operate accounts and properties;
- maintain transaction and ownership records;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations;
- resolve disputes;
- enforce agreements.
Public property records may remain visible while the property is active, dormant, or otherwise preserved as part of Internet City's registry history. Data that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated.
10. Security
Internet City uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. These may include:
- authenticated access;
- database access controls;
- row-level security;
- server-side authorization;
- encrypted network transport;
- payment-provider hosted checkout;
- logging and anti-abuse controls.
No online service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to:
- access;
- correct;
- delete;
- restrict certain processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive a copy of certain data;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or recordkeeping purposes.

12. Children
Internet City is not intended for children who are below the minimum age required to enter into online contracts or consent to data processing in their jurisdiction.
Do not use paid Internet City features if you are not legally able to enter into the relevant transaction.
13. International processing
Internet City's infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, providers may use legal mechanisms for international data transfers.
14. External links
Internet City properties may link to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not govern those external websites. Review the privacy practices of the destination service before providing information to it.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Internet City evolves. The current version will display an updated "Last updated" date. Where required by law, additional notice may be provided for material changes.
