Terms of Use

1. What Internet City is

Internet City is a visual directory and discovery platform for websites, products, creators, and other online projects. Users may register a digital property represented as a plot and building within an interactive 3D city.

A registered property may include public information such as:

• a property or creator name;
• logo or avatar;
• tagline or description;
• website or profile link;
• category;
• plot number;
• building tier or height;
• public discovery or traffic statistics.

Registration in Internet City does not create any ownership interest outside the Service.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• maintaining control of your login credentials;
• activity performed through your account;
• keeping your contact information reasonably current.

Internet City may use third-party authentication providers, including Google and Supabase. You may explore publicly available parts of the city without creating an account.

3. Digital properties

A property represents a listing within Internet City. Each property is associated with a specific plot in a district.

Unless otherwise stated:

• a plot may have only one registered property at a time;
• registration is subject to successful payment and availability;
• property registration does not create real-world property rights;
• a property may be displayed indefinitely while Internet City continues operating and the property remains compliant with these Terms.

"Permanent," "lifetime," "ownership," "land," "resident," "registered," and similar terms used within the product are part of Internet City's digital city concept and refer only to the property's status within the Service. They do not create perpetual legal obligations or real-world ownership rights.

4. Pricing and building tiers

Internet City may offer one-time registration tiers and property upgrades. The amount associated with a tier determines the digital presentation of the property, including building size or floor count.

Current pricing may be displayed in the Service before purchase. Internet City may change pricing for future purchases. A pricing change does not retroactively require an existing registered property to pay more for the tier already purchased.

Upgrading a property may require payment of the difference between the property's current eligible tier and the selected higher tier.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers or merchants of record, including Dodo Payments where available. You may be required to agree to additional payment-provider terms at checkout.

Internet City does not receive or store your full payment-card details when payments are handled by the payment provider. Taxes, currency conversion, payment methods, and checkout presentation may vary based on location and the payment provider.

A redirect from a checkout page does not by itself mean that a property has been successfully registered. A property is considered registered only after Internet City receives and validates confirmation from the payment provider and updates the property status within the Service.

6. Property information and user content

You are responsible for content you submit or associate with a property. You represent that you have the necessary rights to use any name, logo, avatar, image, trademark, text, website, profile, or other content you provide.

You must not use Internet City to:

• impersonate another person, company, or project;
• link to malware, phishing, scams, or deceptive services;
• distribute illegal content;
• violate intellectual-property rights;
• promote unlawful goods or services;
• publish hateful or extremist content;
• abuse, harass, or threaten others;
• attempt to manipulate, damage, or disrupt the Service.

Internet City may remove, hide, suspend, or modify access to content or properties that violate these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, or platform safety requirements.

7. Links to external websites

Properties may link to third-party websites and profiles. Internet City does not control those external services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, products, or practices. Visiting an external property destination is at your own discretion.

8. Foot traffic and public statistics

Internet City may record aggregate interactions such as outbound property visits, ranking changes, or other public activity. These metrics are intended as product and discovery statistics and may be filtered, delayed, estimated, adjusted, or corrected for spam, bots, abuse, or technical errors.

Internet City does not guarantee any minimum number of visitors, clicks, impressions, sales, followers, customers, or other outcomes.

9. Availability

Internet City may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to preserve valid registered properties and property records, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted or perpetual operation.

Internet City may perform maintenance, change infrastructure, update visual designs, modify district layouts where reasonably necessary, or introduce new districts and features. Where practical, material changes affecting registered properties will be handled in a way that preserves their core listing status.

10. No resale market at launch

Internet City does not currently provide an official marketplace for buying, selling, or transferring plots between users. Do not represent an Internet City property as an investment or claim that it will appreciate in value. Any future transfer system, if introduced, will be governed by additional rules.

11. Dormant or unavailable destinations

If a property's destination becomes unavailable, unsafe, or invalid, Internet City may disable the outbound link, mark the property dormant, request updated information, or hide the property where necessary for safety. A temporarily inactive external link does not automatically transfer the plot to another user.

12. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the Internet City Refund Policy. Where applicable, statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Intellectual property

Internet City, including its software, visual city, brand, designs, original graphics, interfaces, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Aman Upadhyay, except for user-provided content and third-party materials.

Registering a property does not transfer ownership of Internet City's software, city design, brand, or underlying platform. You retain rights you lawfully hold in content you submit.

By submitting public property content, you grant Internet City a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, resize, format, reproduce, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and share the property within the Service.

14. Abuse and security

You must not:

• probe or exploit security vulnerabilities;
• circumvent authentication or authorization;
• interfere with payments or ownership records;
• automate abusive requests;
• scrape the Service in a manner that degrades its operation;
• attempt to claim plots through race conditions, exploits, or unauthorized API calls.

Internet City may restrict access where abuse or security risk is detected.

15. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.

Internet City does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, a particular ranking, traffic volume, commercial results, future resale value, or continued availability of any third-party integration.

Nothing on Internet City constitutes financial, investment, legal, or real-estate advice.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Internet City and Aman Upadhyay will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service, including loss of profits, data, traffic, business opportunities, or reputation.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, liability will be limited to the amount paid by you to Internet City for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Termination

You may stop using Internet City at any time. Internet City may suspend or terminate access, hide a property, or remove content where reasonably necessary because of Terms violations, abuse, fraud, security concerns, legal requirements, intellectual-property complaints, payment disputes, or prohibited content.

Where reasonable and legally permitted, we may provide an opportunity to correct minor violations.

18. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as Internet City develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Aman Upadhyay, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply based on your location.

Operator identity and governing jurisdiction must be reviewed before payment launch.
